ADMINISTRATOR-SUPPORT ROLE

THE PLANNING COLLECTIVE - SILVERDALE
Part time- 15 – 25 hours per week

The Planning Collective is a dynamic high functioning planning consultancy that undertakes work throughout New Zealand but primarily in Auckland and Northland. The business is located in Silverdale.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, motivated, practical person, to tackle all administrative tasks associated with providing support to a growing planning business. This is a permanent part-time role.

The position involves specialist planning administrator support such as assisting with work stream and client project management, plus personal assistant and administrative tasks required to keep the business running smoothly. A strong background in business administration and professional and effective client communications is essential.

You will work closely in a small, dedicated team. The work environment is highly professional and fast paced. The role is dynamic and varied. You will undertake a range of duties, some complex and others very straight forward. You will have attention to detail and take pride in completing all tasks, big or small, accurately, professionally and in a timely manner (we have lots of deadlines to meet).

As our ideal candidate you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • You will have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role;

  • Your written and verbal communication skills are clear, positive, professional and mature;

  • You will ideally have experience using time recording and accounting software such as Xero and Total Synergy;

  • You will be team player and ready to pitch in where needed, while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude;

  • You will have a high level of computer literacy - competence with the Microsoft office suite and Excel in particular are a must;

  • You are exceptionally well organised, able to prioritise tasks and meet competing demands;

  • You are reliable, honest and set high standards for yourself;

  • You are task focussed and take personal pride in getting things done on time and correctly.
